Refund & Cancellation Policy

OmniChatStack runs on a subscription model. This policy spells out, without ambiguity, what happens to your money when you upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or dispute a charge. We have written it in plain language because we believe you should know exactly where you stand before you make any billing decision.

1. How Our Billing Works

All paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or annually, through PayFast. When you subscribe, you are purchasing access to the platform for the upcoming billing period, not on a usage basis. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Prices are displayed and charged in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

2. Our Refund Position

OmniChatStack does not offer automatic refunds on monthly subscriptions after a billing cycle has started. This is a standard position for SaaS platforms because platform access and infrastructure costs are committed at the point of billing, regardless of whether the account is actively used in that period.

That said, we are a small, founder-led team and we treat billing disputes like adults. If something went wrong — you were charged incorrectly, a technical failure blocked your access, or there was a genuine billing error on our side — reach out to us within 14 days of the charge and we will review it properly.

3. When a Refund Is Granted

We will issue a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged twice for the same billing period due to a system error.
  • Your account was billed after you submitted a confirmed cancellation.
  • A verified platform outage on our side prevented meaningful use of OmniChatStack for more than 72 continuous hours within your paid billing period.
  • You were charged for a plan upgrade that failed to activate correctly, and we cannot resolve it within 72 hours.
  • A billing error caused you to be charged a higher amount than the plan price publicly listed at the time of billing.

4. When a Refund Is Not Granted

We do not issue refunds in the following situations:

  • You subscribed and then decided the platform was not the right fit, without a technical fault on our side.
  • You forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
  • A team member on your account made purchases you were unaware of.
  • Your WhatsApp Business number was suspended or banned by Meta because of your policy violations — this is outside our control and does not affect your OmniChatStack subscription.

5. Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate in exchange for an upfront annual commitment. Because of this, annual plans are non-refundable after the 14-day window from the initial billing date has passed.

If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial payment date and have not made substantial use of the platform during that period, we will review your case. Substantial use is defined as having processed more than 500 messages or connected more than one channel during those 14 days.

6. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel at any time directly from your account settings under Billing > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation stops future billing. It does not immediately end your access — you retain full access to OmniChatStack until the last day of your current paid period.

After cancellation, your account automatically moves to the free Starter plan. Your data, conversation history, and account configuration are preserved for 60 days. After 60 days of inactivity on a downgraded account, all data is permanently deleted.

To delete your account entirely, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and permanently removes all data.

7. Downgrading Your Plan

Downgrading to a lower paid plan or to the free Starter plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period, not immediately. You will not receive a credit or refund for the unused portion of your current plan when downgrading.

8. Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrading to a higher tier plan takes effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your current billing period at the new plan rate. Your next full billing cycle is charged at the new plan rate.

9. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, your account enters a 7-day grace period during which all features remain accessible. We will send email notifications to the billing email on file on Day 1, Day 4, and Day 7.

If payment is not resolved within 7 days of the original due date, your account is automatically suspended. Suspended accounts retain all data but lose platform access. You can reactivate at any time by updating your payment method under Billing.

10. Disputing a Charge

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider, please contact us directly. Chargebacks are costly and time-consuming for both parties, and most billing issues can be resolved faster through our support team.

To dispute a charge, email support@omnichatstack.com with the subject line "Billing Dispute" and include your account email address, the charge date, the amount, and a brief description of the issue. We will respond within 2 business days.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Refund & Cancellation Policy, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
